Swirl Scarf /
Jane Field
Perfect for any season! This flirty, ruffled accessory uses 1 skein of Silk Cloud to create a fun, yet sophisticated scarf.
The ruffles are created using a simple increase technique, the KFB.
Knit a stitch normally, but leave the stitch on your left needle instead of dropping as you normally would. Then, knit the same stitch through the back portion of the loop. Voila! Two stitches exist where only one used to be.

Early test versions of this pattern used a tighter traditional cast-on method using one needle. Directions after each cast on for current patterns should read: "Remove smaller needle from cast on stitches and knit using larger needle".
